Verner Weekly: Coins for Cans, MLK Day, Spirit Night

Coins for Can Collection:  January 13-17

Help Verner buy food for the West Alabama Food Bank and compete in the City Schools’ Tuscaloosa CAN! design challenge at the same time.  This year’s design was created by 5th grader Sophie Suhr.  Your donation will help us buy the cans in bulk.  The homeroom that raises the most money will receive a pizza party! Following the competition, all cans will be donated to the West Alabama Food Bank to eliminate hunger in our area.

There will be no school on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Mark your calendar for SPIRIT NIGHT on January 28th at Taziki’s
