VIP (Verner Investment Program) is the official fundraiser for Verner PTA.  VIP donations make it possible for your PTA to focus on helping Verner instead of conducting endless fundraising sales of cookie dough, magazines, wrapping paper, etc.  All VIP funds are used at Verner for expenses State funds do not cover. A donation of $150 per child is suggested.

Join today through one of three easy options:

  • Pay your $150 donation via the PayPal
  • Complete a Verner VIP Donation Letter/Form and return along with your credit card information (card number, name on card, expiration date, 3-digit security code on back).

Best Reasons to Join VIP:

  • “The resources VIP provides for our children help make Verner the #1 school.”-Beth Curtis, Principal
  • Classroom “start-up” money for every teacher
  • Computer teacher  (fully funded by VIP) and classroom technology – tablets (Kindle, Nook…) for every teacher

September Reminders: PTA Open House, VIP, and the Druid City Garden Project!

Many thanks to everyone for your cooperation, help and patience to get this school year off to a great start!

Please note on your calendars that the PTA Open House is this Thursday, September 8th at 6:00 p.m. This is a great time to learn more about events at Verner and to learn about ways you can support and volunteer throughout the school year.  There will also be a guest speaker from the Druid City Garden Project who will share about this wonderful new addition to our school!

Also, Verner’s VIP campaign is in full swing and we want every Verner family to join us! VIP (Verner Improvement Program) is our PTA’s investment/fundraising program. Parents, grandparents and other supporters can make a one-time, tax-deductible donation that goes directly towards helping Verner and its students.

By joining VIP, you help fund many of the wonderful activities and events for students at Verner and provide books and other resources for our classrooms. If you were not able to join during Verner’s Meet-and-Greet, you can complete a form and submit your payment by cash, check, PayPal, or credit card. There will also be a  VIP table set up at the PTA meeting on September 8th.

Becoming a VIP is easy and now offers three ways for you to join, pay your membership, and support your student’s education:

  • Paper Form: Complete a paper form and return to your student’s homeroom teacher with your cash or check payment of $150.00 (suggested amount per child). Click here for a copy of the form.
  • Electronic Payment via PayPal: Make your payment of $150.00 per child byway of PayPal. A link to the Verner PayPal site is located here and on the VIP page of this blog.
  • Credit Card: Complete a paper form and return to your student’s homeroom teacher with your credit card information (card number, name on card, expiration date, 3-digit security code on back).

Your participation in VIP is vital to our students and our school. This is Verner’s ONLY school-wide fundraiser (so no selling of cookie dough, magazines, etc.) and funds raised through VIP are used to benefit our students. VIP pays for library books, textbooks, classroom supplies, a computer teacher, annual Spring Fling, reading rewards, art and PE materials, and so much more. And while $150.00 per child is suggested, VIP will accept any donation amount (below or above the $150.00).

Your membership donation is tax-deductible and you will receive a VIP magnet or sticker to display and show your support for Verner.
