Verner Community Gathering to Discuss Renovations
We are so looking forward to all of the planned renovations coming to Verner in the next 12 months. You may have heard the architect, Mike Ellis, speak at our last PTA meeting on the plans. We want to offer you another opportunity to hear all about the renovations that are coming our way. You are invited to a Verner community gathering on Tuesday, April 10, at 5:30, in the multi-purpose room.
The first phase of the plan will be to replace all of the tile and carpet and this will be done during the coming summer months. Since the school was built in 1982, the school was inspected for asbestos in the flooring and found to not be harmful asbestos in its current state. The flooring renovations have always been part of the larger project. The Verner family looks forward to the project as you are certainly deserving of a full renovation that includes the flooring, lighting, sprinkler system, technology, etc.
Please try to join us on April 10 (5:30) for this summary of all of the exciting things coming to our students.
