October is a fun and busy month for our Verner friends!  Please be sure to mark the following dates on your calendar.

Sept 30th – Oct 4th – Book Fair

October 7th and 8th – Fall Break

October 15th – Gourmade Kitchen Spirit Night

22nd – PTA Meeting 6:00 (Performance by Kindergarten and 2nd Grade)

25th – SCA Bake Sale

26th – Kid Created UNICEF Carnival – 10:00  am-12:00 pm

31st – Wacky Hat Day

We still need volunteers to help with our Book Fair, especially, slots tomorrow and Tuesday morning!

Box Top Challenge

Who will rule the school? Boys or Girls?  Bring in those box tops to win!  Place your bags of Box Tops in the mailbox and be sure to clearly mark them Boys or Girls.  No need to write your name or teacher’s name.  Contest ends TOMORROW – Monday, February 4th!

PTA Meeting

Join us for an informative meeting on Tuesday, February 26th at 6:00 pm.  4th and 5th graders will also be performing!

Bike and Walk to School Day THIS WEDNESDAY!

Verner is participating  in Bike and Walk to School Day.  Join in on Wednesday, October 10th and celebrate the benefits of walking and cycling!

You should have received your child’s proof.  If you would like to order, choose the package you would like and send the money in the enclosed envelope.  If you do not want to order, please send the proofs back to school.  Checks should be made out to Bill Miller Photography
