It is Reflections time! Verner PTA is kicking-off the 2015-2016 Reflections Cultural Arts Contest.
YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE AN EXPERT ARTIST, JUST SOMEONE WITH A GREAT I•M•A•G•I•N•A•T•I•O•N!
Entries should be based on this year’s them, “Let Your Imagination Fly.” Deadline for all entries is November 18.
Students can create work at home or in school in six categories:
- DANCE CHOREOGRAPHY
- FILM/VIDEO PRODUCTION
- LITERATURE
- MUSICAL COMPOSITION
- PHOTOGRAPHY
- VISUAL ARTS
- There is no limit on the number of submissions
- All entries must be the original work of one student
- Students may also have more than one entry in any category
All entries should be submitted to the school no later than November 18. Information regarding entry guidelines and a copy of the student entry form is available on the Reflections Art Contest page of this blog, which can be accessed by clicking here.
REFLECTIONS WORKSHOP: The City PTA Council will host a “Reflections Workshop” on Thursday, October 22, from 5:30-7:00 pm, in the Regions meeting room at the TCS Central Office downtown. Parents and students are invited to attend to learn all the specific instructions of how to submit entries.
