American Red Cross Blood Drive
The American Red Cross Needs YOUR help! Please consider giving blood at the Red Cross Blood Drive on Monday, May 1st between the hours of 9:00 am and 1:30 pm. The mobile blood bus will be parked right outside of Verner! How easy and convenient is that??? We would LOVE to have 50 donors registered. For planning purposes, it is ideal for the Red Cross if we have all donors signed up by the end of THIS week. You can schedule your appointment by simply going to www.redcrossblood.org and use the keyword “Verner.”
Urban Cookhouse Spirit Night
When: Monday, May 8th 4:30-8:00
Verner will receive 10% of sales for the evening.

Box Top Contest
Final Box Top contest begins April 1st! This contest will be BOYS vs GIRLS with a twist. For every 10 Box Tops your child sends in, his or her name will be entered in a drawing. Drawings will take place April 14th and April 28th. EVERYONE has a chance to win!! Just send in Box Tops labeled with your child’s name, grade and teacher.
RQMS 5th Grade Mixers
Rock Quarry Middle School mixer for current 5th graders. Will take place at RQMS on May 16 from 3:30 to 4:30.
